Founded in 2004 by identical twins Dave and Steve Flynn at the age of 24, The Happy Pear began as a small vegetable shop with a mission to create a happier, healthier world and build community.
What started with just the two of them has grown into a team of almost 100 people. Today, The Happy Pear has over 80 plant-based food products stocked in nearly 1,000 stores across Ireland, as well as on Ocado and in many independent stores throughout the UK.
The business now includes a café, restaurant, and shop, alongside a 4-acre organic regenerative farm, a living food sprout farm, and a sourdough bakery.Dave and Steve have sold over half a million cookbooks, including seven number-one bestselling titles. They also created The Happy Pear App, partnering with medical doctors and leading experts to help over 100,000 people from 120 countries improve their health and wellbeing.
Across their social channels, they have built a community of more than 2 million followers, with nearly 40 million views on their YouTube channel and over 3 million podcast listens.
