Stephen Bailey

Comedian, Presenter, Television Personality and Writer

Stephen Bailey is a comedian, presenter, television personality and writer, whose friendly and open brand of gossipy humour has made him one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming acts in comedy at the moment.

Most recently, he has starred on Live at the Apollo (BBC 2), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One) and Celebrity Coach Trip (E4). He is the host of Celebs on the Farm (Channel 5), Celebs On The Ranch (Channel 5) – and is a regular panellist on The Laura Whitmore Show (BBC Radio 5Live).

He was the resident Agony Uncle on Zoe Ball on Saturday/Sunday (ITV), a series regular on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (Channel 5) and has his own 30-minute stand up special Stephen Bailey – Live (Comedy Central)

As seen on Coronation Street (ITV), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), Roast Battle, Takeshi’s Castle & Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show, Safeword, CelebAbility & The Great Xmas Rant (ITV2), Wardrobe Secrets (ITVBe), Celebrity Advice Bureau (W), Do The Right Thing with Eamonn and Ruth, It’s Not Me, It’s You & The Jeremy Vine Show (Channel 5).

2020 will see Stephen as the new host of Takeshi’s Castle on Comedy Central

Stephen has previously supported Katherine Ryan and Jenny Éclair on their sold-out UK tours. Following another sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, he recently completed his 2019 tour Our Kid – a story full of Northern warmth, some working-class guilt and a bit of blue and will be embarking on a brand new one in 2020.

A face for TV and a voice for radio, Stephen has guest hosted The Jason Manford Show (Absolute), Drivetime with Eamonn Homes (Talk Radio), Sunday Takeover (Virgin Radio), The Breakfast Show (Gaydio) and The Arts Show with Jonathan Ross (BBC Radio 2).

Stephen also performs at corporate and private events. He is available for after dinner comedy sets, hosting, Q&A sessions and more. A clip of him discussing LGBT rights on AOL Build went viral in 2017.
