Jamie started his career as one of the key members of the hit E4 show Made In Chelsea, and, over the years since his TV debut in 2011 he has progressed on screen with credits including live Young Free and Single, Murder in Successville, This Morning, 8 out of 10 Cats, and In Bed with Jamie, to name only a few. He also hosts a popular Saturday show on HEAT Radio. His ease in front of the camera and his infectious energy and charm continue to win over young audiences
An original digital native, Jamie has blazed a trail online with his new media content. The highly successful Podcast Private Parts which he co-hosts with Francis Boulle and his producer Tom gives listeners a witty and insightful view into their everyday life. Furthermore, his YouTube channel Happy Hour – a weekly Vlog with daring pranks, crazy challenges and a daily view of his unique ways and outlook – continues to go from strength to strength.
Jamie has worked closely with many charities over the years, most recently in C4’s Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up to Cancer, which saw Jamie and Spencer Matthews acting as fugitives and trying to outwit professional hunters. In 2014, Jamie worked with Comic Relief, filming the acclaimed BBC1 documentary Famous, Rich and Hungry, raising awareness for food poverty in the UK. He is also an ambassador for the Young Minds organisation which aims to help young people improve their mental health.
As well as his media presence, Jamie has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps with his entrepreneurial skills, and in 2012 he founded the sweets brand, Candy Kittens.
Jamie, who’s motto is ‘ask for forgiveness, not permission’ is a key role model for young entrepreneurs, and believes that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
2018 was an exciting year with the launch of the successful Private Parts Live Tour, following this Jamie was part of critically acclaimed show Famous and Fighting Crime at the start of 2019.
Being announced on Strictly Come Dancing was also a highlight of 2019. Whilst he was not able to compete due to injury he loved having the opportunity and the public have hugely supported his stoic attitude to adversity. Bring it on 2020!
